Attracting organic users to your web3 project
My simple (and proven) recipe for web3 GTM success
Looking to attract organic users to your web3 project, platform or application? Here are a few tips that can help:
💡 Offer valuable content unique to your vertical: People are more likely to engage with and share interesting and useful content.
Consider creating state-of-industry blog posts, product explainer videos, curated research/data, shill-free alpha, or other types of content that provide tangible value to your target audience.
My two biggest content tips:
1. Your content should never have to compete with media companies (unless that's what you're going for)
2. Every piece of content should replace the work your users don't have time for. If it's not saving them research time, it's not compelling enough.
🚦 Utilize SEO: Proper use of keywords and other SEO best practices can help your content rank higher in search results, making it more visible to potential users. Make yourself discoverable with organic traffic.
🗣 Engage with your audience: Engaging with your audience on social media and responding to comments and messages can help build relationships and encourage organic growth. It's free, it's simple, and it builds loyalty.
🤝 Collaborate with brands and micro-influencers: Communities aren't built in a vacuum. Make friends and build armies. Partnering with other brands and trusted, niche micro-influencers (1-10k audience) in your space will expose you to a wider audience and increase your reach without compromising authenticity.
Find good partners through networking, engaging, and providing value in relevant online communities. Be their advocate before you ask them to be yours.
📲 Focus on user experience: Creating a user-friendly and enjoyable experience for your users can help encourage them to share your platform or application with their own networks. A compelling user experience is THE only way to win by word-of-mouth.
👯 Build a network effect: Referral and affiliate programs should be key to your growth. They are cost-effective and potentially game-changing. Turn your best community members into your best advocates. Reward them for making your project a success.
